Our 32nd Wedding Anniversary

Just wanted to share a photo of my husband and me on our wedding day. We were married on June 11, 1977 and just celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary! He is a wonderful man and I love him dearly! They say time flies when you are having fun....so true!!!! ;-)

Studio Glimpses

I thought it would be fun to show some glimpses of my studio since I have never done that before. So I will start with this photo of an angel that sits in my studio behind where I sculpt. She is a large garden ornament that I just couldn't bare to leave outside. I brought her inside and she watches over me as I sculpt and go about my daily routine. I am a firm believer in guardian angels and this lovely angel reminds me of that everytime I see her. She brings me much joy!!! Hope you like her too! Warmly, Marcie

Alice In Wonderland

This time of year is such a busy time of year for me I barely have time to sculpt. I have also taken on a huge project that has been eating up my time the last few weeks that I will tell you about soon. (It has been so fun!) In the meantime I have been working on a new piece called Alice In Wonderland and I wanted to share just a few of the characters that will be incorporated into the piece as it gets further along. ...6 Things That Make Me Happy...

1. Being with my Husband, Family and Friends.
2. Having that first cup of coffee with my dog Sadie at my side and saying "Good Morning" to our horses and kittys.
3. The smell of the fresh pine in the air around our home from the forest.
4. Knowing that all of the hard work has paid off as I enjoy the beautiful flowers and birds in our garden.
5. Taking in a afternoon of antique shops and finding that special "One Thing"
6. The wonderful feeling I get when I am in my studio...one of my favorite places on earth!!!
