Sneak Peek

It is hard to believe it is 2010. This year has flown by. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

I have been working on several new projects which I will be showing in the next couple of weeks.
The first piece is called "Odelle's Opera Dreams"
I am giving you a glimpse as I am putting the finishing touches on her today. It was a large piece... but a fun piece to work on. I should have more detailed photos in a couple of days.
I have also included some of my favorite opera singers for your listening enjoyment and to set the mood for this new piece. Be back real soon!!!

Marcie I hope you show a full length pic of Odelle. I would love to see her costuming. The expression on her face with her eyes looking up slightly is fabulous (reminds me abit of Diana, Princess of Wales).

Hi Sue! Now that you mention it yes...I do see a resemblence to princess Diana's eyes. Diana had such gorgeous eyes. Thank you for stopping by! ;-)

Hi Dessa! She is made of Fimo Clay. I have worked with it for years now and love it. I have tried other clays but once I used fimo the other clays felt so odd to me when I was sculpting with them. I guess each person has their own preference. Thank you so much for the compliment and for stopping by! ;-)
