Alice In Wonderland

This time of year is such a busy time of year for me I barely have time to sculpt. I have also taken on a huge project that has been eating up my time the last few weeks that I will tell you about soon. (It has been so fun!) In the meantime I have been working on a new piece called Alice In Wonderland and I wanted to share just a few of the characters that will be incorporated into the piece as it gets further along. Warmly, Marcie ;-)

Hi Marcie,
The sculpts are coming along great! I can't wait to see the final result :)What scale are you making them in?

It seems that everyone is working or rather directed towards the Alice in Wonderland theme lately. With the Mad Tea Party almost here I've also been working like a madwoman on several pieces. I even made a top "MAD" hat out of papermache from scratch...and what a job it was....phew!

Hugs...

Marcie,
I love your Alice In Wonderland characters. I mainly love the Chesser(sp) cat. Can't wait to see more.

Oooh...Vania your top "Mad" hat sounds wonderful! Yes...I know what you mean about many people working on this theme. I actually had Alice's head sculpted some time ago..but just couldn't picture her as the sculpt I originally intended for her. So she sat for awhile and then it came to me. She looked like the Alice I had envisioned and so the process began as I am sure you know. LOL I hope to get back to her soon...Are all of your pieces done or are you still working on them? Great to hear from you!!! ;-)
